Kampala Serena Hotel received the First Runners up award under the Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) category at the Corporate Governance Awards 2018 organised by the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda (ICGU). The Corporate Governance Award is a platform to recognise outstanding organisations that are at the vanguard of corporate governance excellence. Organisations with outstanding achievements in governance, risk and compliance fields in Uganda are recognised and this award plays an important role in encouraging improvements in the quality of Corporate Governance.
