Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank (KICB) is pleased to announce the establishment of correspondent banking relationships with Citibank. This development allows both the bank and its clients to have direct access to dollar payment services. KICB was established in 2001 by the Kyrgyz Republic and international financial organisations, including the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED), International Finance Corporation (IFC), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG). Currently, AKFED is the major shareholder, along with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. “We are proud that Citibank has chosen KICB as its partner bank in the Kyrgyz Republic for establishing these correspondent relationships. We are delighted to offer our esteemed clients broader access to SWIFT payments on the global financial market through Citibank’s extensive network,” said Mr. Arif Ali, Chairman of KICB.
