On 20 December in Rwanda, the Kigali Serena Hotel hosted an event for children living with disabilities from "Izere Mubyeyi" Centre located in the Kanombe District. Erick Mugesera, Kigali Serena Hotel Human Resources Manager, said that the Hotel was not just about accommodation or restaurants but that the management put forth supporting vulnerable communities. For simple inclusion, the Kigali Serena Hotel organised a Christmas party every year to celebrate with vulnerable communities in the society and hoped to transform the lives of people over the holiday season. During the party, children shared a meal with the Serena Hotel management, played games, received gifts and entertainment from Santa.
