Kyrgyzstan delivers humanitarian aid to ethnic Kyrgyz in Pamir

Kyrgyzstan has delivered humanitarian aid to ethnic Kyrgyz living in the Pamir region, Deputy Minister Bakyt Darmankul uulu told Birinchi Radio. The annual expedition provided food, medicine, veterinary supplies and hygiene products. Medical specialists—including dentists, cardiologists, a paediatrician, obstetrician-gynaecologist, ultrasound expert and veterinarians—also treated residents. Darmankul uulu said recipients were especially grateful for new ultrasound machines and gynaecological chairs, donated to clinics established by the Aga Khan Foundation. With the difficult terrain limiting travel to regional centres, on-site ultrasounds now enable essential diagnostics locally.
