A new exhibit is being held at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, opening on 14 July till 19 August, by artist Wafaa Bilal is entitled 168:01 – A Library Rising from the Ashes. The show consists of a large room containing a long, uniform bookshelf and thousands of identical blank books with white covers. Beside them are a table and librarian’s chair, empty. In this it echoes the boutique hotel lobby and its faux books.
