Meeting reviews prospects for establishing Aga Khan Hospital in Peshawar

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi recently received Sultan Ali Allana, Chairman of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and Director of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development, for discussions on investment opportunities and economic development initiatives in the province of Pakistan. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi was also present during the meeting. The meeting focused on avenues for investment promotion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a range of matters of mutual interest. Discussions included a detailed review of the prospects for establishing an Aga Khan Hospital in Peshawar. The participants agreed to constitute joint working teams to advance the initiative and expedite the necessary preparatory work. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi described the proposed Aga Khan Hospital as a transformative project that would significantly enhance access to high quality and specialised healthcare services for the people of the province. He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to extending all possible facilitation and institutional support to ensure the project’s fast track advancement.
