On 22 January, the Minister of Antiquities, Khaled al-Anani, convened with the Director of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) in the Ministry of Antiquities' headquarters in Cairo to discuss means of cooperation in the development of Cairo’s historical districts. The Assistant Minister of Antiquities for Technical Affairs, Mustafa Amin, said the meeting focused on the latest works of AKTC regarding the Egyptian antiquities and monuments and the next projects and support from AKTC for the development and restoration of historical Cairo.
