The National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) of Pakistan has launched a manual on the art of parenting in collaboration with Aga Khan Foundation, Pakistan and Aga Khan University, National Institute of Psychology- Quaide Azam University and Dukhtaran-i-Pakistan. Federal Minister for Human Rights, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar addressed the event highlighting critical social issues and emphasising collective action for effective solutions. He underscored the need for comprehensive measures to address societal challenges, particularly in policymaking and implementation. “We create policies, but we do not implement them,” he remarked, stressing the importance of bridging this gap to effectively support families and children.
