Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended the launch of the Aga Khan University (AKU) Manual of Clinical Practice Guidelines, a book based on guidelines for the health sector of Pakistan, by the Aga Khan University as the chief guest. AKU has made invaluable contributions to public welfare in Pakistan. These guidelines, developed by the Prime Minister in the context of global guidelines and the problems existing in the health sector of Pakistan, will help in fulfilling the government’s health sector reform agenda. AKU provides consultancy services free of charge in the construction of Jinnah Medical Complex in Islamabad, which is commendable.
