Welcoming the students to the first day of classes on 7 September, the Rector of UCA appreciated how well the students and faculty have been coping with the uncertainties and issues related to Covid-19. "What defines us," he said "is how we respond to such challenges." He hoped that the present health crisis will also teach us how to use technology in developing new methods of teaching and reaching remote communities. Due to health and distancing requirements of Covid-19, all classes are being conducted online until it is safe to return to the University’s campuses in Naryn (Kyrgyzstan) and Khorog (Tajikistan).
