A mini-symposium titled ‘Life and Chemical Sciences: Catalysing Innovation and Transformative Discovery’ was held at the University of Karachi’s International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), jointly organised by ICCBS, the Pakistan Academy of Sciences and Aga Khan University (AKU). Former federal minister Prof Dr Atta-ur-Rahman urged scholars to equip themselves with knowledge and skills to face contemporary challenges, highlighting quantum computing as a ground-breaking scientific advancement. Prof Dr Muhammad Wasy of AKU also addressed the gathering. ICCBS Director Prof Dr Muhammad Raza Shah described the institution’s students as its greatest assets and urged them to remain focused on education and research.
