Renowned Senegalese musician Baaba Maal is coming to North York’s Aga Khan Museum for a weeklong artist residency, and he’s coming with a message of world peace. "I’m looking to meet people, to talk to them and exchange ideas, to stand up together to bring awareness about how important it is – in this world, in this particular time – to see peace happening all over the planet," the singer, guitarist and percussionist said. The Aga Khan Museum, along with Maal’s residency, is hosting a number of events to celebrate Black cultures from around the world this month.
