In response to the effects of coronavirus which is ravaging the world and severely stomping the global economy, Kigali Serena Hotel has donated 4.5 tons of food including rice, maize flour and beans as well as 450 litres of cooking oil. The initiative was developed in a bid to support the government of Rwanda's response to the pandemic through financially supporting vulnerable families. Daniel Sambai, Kigali Serena Hotel General Manager said that the coronavirus pandemic greatly affected all sectors of the economy in Rwanda but mostly disadvantaged families that relied on daily income to survive.
