The Municipality of Sertã, Portugal recently received a delegation from the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), in an institutional visit aimed at promoting dialogue and the sharing of experiences in strategic areas such as local development, inclusion and the enhancement of the territory. Led by Karim Merali, CEO of AKF Portugal, and Nick McKinlay, Global Programme Director, the nine-member delegation from the foundation was accompanied by Luís Matias, Coordinator of the Integrated Territorial-Based Intervention of Pinhal Interior.
