When Alijon Davlatmirov returned to Khorog to launch a welding and car service business, the University of Central Asia’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) helped him by offering to house his new venture thanks to its Technical Vocational Education and Training school (TVET). Enthusiastic to expand his expertise, he enrolled in SPCE’s plumbing course at the TVET school in 2017. Outside of his business, Alijon is very keen to give back and serve his community. "UCA’s School of Professional and Continuing Education’s support in launching my business and expanding my skills has changed my life. I want to pay it back and plan to continue helping my community."
