"Pakistan will be participating in a major clinical trial for the eradication of tuberculosis (TB) conducted by St George’s University of London," said Dr Amina Jindani, a leading specialist. She will give two lectures on her work in Pakistan. The lectures will be held at the Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore on 25 February and the Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi on 27February. The Aga Khan University and the Shaukat Khanum Hospital are collaborating in a multicentre trial with six other countries. The objective is to shorten the treatment of TB from six to four months.
