As part of the Solidarity4All project, the Aga Khan Foundation Portugal will be running two training sessions in the city of Fundão, dedicated to citizen participation and community development, with the aim of strengthening skills and practices for social engagement. The first event is aimed at technicians from public entities – namely Municipal and Parish Councils, private institutions of social solidarity and NGOs – and addresses topics such as participation and solidarity, community mobilisation, empowerment and belonging, social cohesion, participatory governance and diversity, equity and inclusion. The second is aimed at associations, community leaders, volunteers and interested citizens, focusing on participatory leadership, planning and implementation of local projects, monitoring and evaluation, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion.
