An agreement was signed in Kyrgyzstan to create the first high-tech mountain hospital specialising in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The project aims to provide residents of remote and high-mountain areas with high-quality cardiological care without the need to travel to Bishkek. The introduction of modern digital technologies and innovative solutions supported by the Aga Khan Development Network will improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment. The Aga Khan Foundation will donate modern equipment, including an angiographic complex and telemedicine devices, which will facilitate remote diagnostics and consultations. Collaboration between the National Centre for Cardiology and Therapy and the Aga Khan Foundation aims to strengthen the health system in mountain regions and ensure equal access to health services.
