The international conference "Mountains, Climate and Health in Central Asia" has opened in Bishkek

The International Conference titled “Mountains, Climate and Health in Central Asia” organised by the University of Central Asia (UCA), took place earlier this month, dedicated to the impact of climate change on mountain ecosystems, human health, and sustainable development in Central Asia. The main goal of the conference was to strengthen cooperation and find science-based solutions to improve the climate resilience of mountain areas and protect the well-being of the population. The conference brought together scientists, government officials, international organisations, and experts in the fields of health and ecology.
