Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi, the deputy of the Ministry of Information and Culture in Afghanistan, in a visit to the Jangalak Vocational Training Center of Aga Khan Cultural Services - Afghanistan (AKCS - A), emphasised the importance of the institute in preserving the original culture of the country. Ajmal Maiwandi, CEO of AKCS - A, presented detailed information about the scientific process and achievements of the organisation. "Hundreds of students receive technical training in this institute every year, and in the cultural and artistic departments, such as sculpture. They gain skills in carpentry, handicrafts, miniatures, tile making and other sectors and are offered to serve the society,” he said.
