Dr Madina Junusova, Senior Research Fellow and Urban Development Lead at the University of Central Asia’s Graduate School of Development (GSD), shares insights on the need to strengthen urban resilience to extreme heat in Central Asian cities. She highlights the interconnected nature of urban infrastructure, noting how disruptions to electricity and water supply can quickly affect essential services.
