The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Afghanistan says it has helped women returning from Iran establish and expand businesses, enabling them to earn incomes and create employment opportunities. One dairy business in Kunduz now produces 400 to 500 kilograms of yogurt daily and provides employment to numerous returnees. The support has been provided through a project funded by Japan and implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Aga Khan Foundation.
