On an invitation from Indian Vice President Chandrapuram Ponnusamy Radhakrishnan, His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V visited India from 9 to 15 September 2026. His Highness held talks with the Vice President on 10 September 2026. During his stay in Delhi, His Highness has also met with Prime Minister, Home Minister and External Affairs Minister. In addition to these engagements, His Highness visited Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad, where Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is involved in various development and community initiatives. This was the first visit of His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V to India since his accession as the 50th Imam of the Ismaili community.
