A scheme of potable drinking water for Dolomuch colony and Seenlasht was inaugurated at Seenlasht (Pakistan). The water supply scheme was completed by the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) with the financial support of European Commission. AKAH Regional Programme Manager, Muhammad Karam, said that AKAH works on drinking water schemes mostly in remote areas of Chitral. He added some 22 water supply schemes were completed in Broghul, Yarkhun Lasht and adjacent areas of upper Chitral. He said AKAH provided drinking water to 87,000 people in the entire district.
