The first phase of the restoration of the world’s biggest picture wall has been completed in the Shahi Qila of Lahore. This wall is considered as a significant contributor to the beauty of the mural which UNESCO has declared as a world heritage site. Walled City of Lahore Authority spokesperson, Tania Qureshi, said documentation of the restoration process started in 2015 and the restoration of one part, which measured 30 feet in length and 40 feet in height, was completed in 2016. The Aga Khan Trust for Culture, the Norwegian and German embassies support the restoration project.
