# Aga Khan Development Network

> The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is a family of private, international, non-denominational development agencies founded by His Highness the Aga Khan. AKDN works in over 30 countries, primarily in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, to improve quality of life across health, education, culture, rural development, economic development and the environment.
