The Aga Khan Foundation's Schools2030 programme won silver in the Educational Excellence category at the Global Good Awards 2026. Running since 2015, the awards recognise businesses, charities and government-led organisations for measurable social and environmental impact.

Schools2030 works with teachers in 1,000 government schools across ten countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, supporting them to design, test and share their own ideas for improving the quality and equity of education where they teach. Its Human-Centred Design toolkit, which Schools2030 staff and teachers developed together, guides educators as they design new classroom practices and put their ideas into action. Through the AKF Learning Hub, the toolkit's facilitator deck and teacher workbooks are now free for educators anywhere to download.
