Work closely with the program teams to conduct environmental assessments, calculate emissions at program / project level and plan mitigation measures in accordance with the best practices. Position Summary The Security Manager will drive safety, security, and risk management initiatives for Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P). S/he will develop and implement risk-based strategies, policies, standards, and procedures in line with wider AKDN policy. A strategic safety and security perspective will be maintained through links with local organizations and official departments in order to inform appropriate operational level decisions for AKHS, P country operations. Key Responsibilities Security Management and Planning Develop and implement a structured safety and security management system, in line with the AKDN Security Level System (SLS), and provide directions on safety and security strategy, policy, standards and procedures. Develop and implement the mandated (SLS) assessments, procedures, plans, and mechanisms appropriate to regional threat levels. Oversee the planning, implementation and quality control of AKHS, P security manpower, technical assets, and physical protection measures such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and firefighting equipment, are appropriate, maintained and correctly utilized. Collect and analyze security information and disseminate security advisories. Review and implement the safety and security mitigation strategies, manage the remedial action plans, and lead the audit process. Incident Management Develop and maintain a critical incident management team (CIMT) and prepare contingency plans to manage critical incidents, including coordination and supporting emergency services during critical incidents. Support the supervisor and CIMT and manage all safety and security aspects of incident response. Develop and maintain a communications system that is robust enough to ensure reliable communications with required services and personnel in an emergency. Report all safety and security incidents in a timely manner and participate in any after-action reviews. Coordination and Relationships Establish relationships with the relevant law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and emergency services to ensure their support as required. Actively participate in monthly security coordination cell (SCC) meetings. Work under functional guidance and in close coordination with the Department of International Security (DIS) and AKHS global security. Maintain regular contact and coordination with the security focal points of AKDN sister agencies. Deliver or coordinate safety and security training and drills for AKHS, P personnel. Conduct or coordinate safety and security training for security guards, drivers, and support staff on a regular basis. Provide an in-country security briefing to international staff and visitors. Provide quarterly country security reports to the supervisor and senior leadership team (SLT). Ensure the safety and security induction and briefing of all new employees. Ensure the statutory standards for fire and first aid preparedness are met and that provision for fire and first aid training is made where applicable. Private Security Advise on the selection of sub- contracted security service companies (guards/technical security/response) and manage such contracts to ensure the operational requirement stated by AKHS, P Senior Leadership Team is properly met. Manage the activities and performance of contracted private security providers in accordance with AKHS, P policies, established KPIs, and the service agreement. Position Responsibilities: To provide overall technical guidance to field teams and ensure that programs are evidence-based, and designed and implemented to meet project objectives To coordinate with the regional heads for the smooth implementation of the program Lead role to develop and finalize annual work plans and to ensure implementation of project deliverables Communication and regular travel to AKHS, P program sites of relevance (including Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Chitral) Program development, planning Improving quality of health services and capacity building under assigned areas (20%) RMNCH (reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health) including EmONC services & SRHR Develop annual work planning for sexual & reproductive health funded project Harness human, material and financial resources appropriate for the program to ensure successful implementation of sexual & reproductive health program funded project. The position holder will be entrusted with delivering high-quality patient care in alignment with rigorous clinical governance frameworks and quality standards. In this dynamic role, the position holder will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cardiology cases and drive continuous improvement initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-quality and patient-centered care by performing advanced interventional cardiology procedures in line with current clinical governance frameworks, ensuring timely and effective management of complex cardiology cases.
