Lisbon, Portugal, 6 September 2013 - His Excellency Aníbal Cavaco Silva, President of the Portuguese Republic, and His Highness the Aga Khan today presented the Aga Khan Awards for Architecture at the Castle of São Jorge in Lisbon. The five projects selected by the 2013 Master Jury are:

• Islamic Cemetery, Altach, Austria
• Hassan II Bridge, Rabat, Morocco
• Rehabilitation of Tabriz Bazaar, Tabriz, Iran
• Revitalisation of Birzeit Historic Centre, Birzeit, Palestine
• Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery, Khartoum, Sudan
