For more than 30 years, the Aga Khan Foundation has worked in Portugal to provide a better quality of life for over half a million people. Together with more than 700 partners in the public and private sectors, the Foundation is undertaking a variety of activities that range from early childhood development to assistance for new immigrants as they integrate into Portuguese society. Across all of its activities, the Foundation seeks to help communities drive their own progress: Connecting people from different walks of life, working with them to identify their aspirations, and helping them to realise these aspirations.
