For example, students at the Aga Khan School, Osh and the Aga Khan Lycée, Khorog engage in a Makerspace Programme, exploring creative and experiential problem-solving in science, technology, engineering, arts and maths. Students at the Aga Khan High School, Kampala host an annual poetry competition with neighbouring schools, judged by professional spoken word poetry artists.


Community service is a fundamental part of our education. Our students collaborate with their local communities on initiatives including cleaning beaches, planting trees and establishing waste management systems.
