Climate change is affecting everyone – but some of us are feeling its effects more than others.

In the poor areas where the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) works, however, the impact of irregular weather patterns, droughts, soil degradation, deforestation, floods and hunger - many of the expected impacts of climate change - have already been significant for over 50 years. Even before "climate resilience" became a common term, the AKDN, working with governments and civil society, has been helping communities become resilient in the face of the challenges posed by climate and geography.
