The Ag Khan Health Services, Dar-es Salaam (AKHS-Dar), has embarked on an ambitious three-year medical intervention strategy to extend health services to most remote areas of Tanzania, as it marks fifty years of operation in the country. The multi-million dollar out-reach project, known as The Aga Khan Health Access and Expansion Programme, is expected to create a foundation for linking over 10 primary medical centres now operating in five regions of Tanzania, with the Aga Khan Hospital Dar es Salaam
